Hi. I’m Bald Rider.

Short version: No hair, long beard, a few bikes…

I’m just a normal guy with a regular day job and don’t know much about this website stuff. Mrs. Bald Rider and I live with a bunch of cats and a rescue dog with one eye in the San Bernardino Mountains.

My first bike was a KLR650 in 2011 when I acquired my motorcycle endorsement. I’ve owned mostly Kawasaki’s and Suzuki’s over the years but there are currently three bikes in my stable: a 2023 Honda Trail 125 (Booger), a 2021 Ural Gear Up (Natasha) and a 2018 Honda Goldwing Tour DCT (Scarlett aka The Crimson Couch). I take them on adventures whenever I can and buy things to accessorize and maintain them. Sometimes I take pictures or write stories. Occasionally, video can be in the mix, as well.

I’m growing tired of social media. I haven’t been on Facebook in years except to try to sell something on occasion. Instagram is ok but Twitter is a dumpster fire. What the hell is X, anyway? Threads? Meh. I like YouTube, though.

I’m in my 40s and I refuse to join the Tiktaks or whatever the kids are doing these days. So I bought a domain in August 2022 and here we are. There is something freeing about owning your own site and making your own rules.
